Garmin joins forces with data-driven golf performance platform Clippd to enhance golfers’ ability to analyze and refine their skills. Through this integration, users of Garmin’s smartwatches and Approach® CT10 club sensors can automatically sync their on-course performance data with Clippd’s analytical tools.
The data-driven golf performance platform breaks down various aspects of a player’s game, such as driving, approach shots, and putting, into measurable metrics to offer insights into strengths, weaknesses, and areas needing improvement. Additionally, Clippd provides personalized practice recommendations based on collected data, which may allow golfers to focus on and implement the adjustments that will impact their game the most. Competitive players, in particular, may appreciate the granular metrics, such as Shot Quality and Importance To Scoring.
This collaboration marks the first use of Garmin’s Golf Premium API™.
