Illuminated Curtained Light Installations : Making the Invisible Visible

Must Read

[ad_1]

American artist Lachlan Turczan has presented six interactive halo art sculptures for this year’s Milan Design Week as a part of Google’s Making the Invisible Visible show. He is known for exploring light and water and his work features Lucida (I-VI). It is housed in Garage 21 and features hues of white, purple, and blue.

Visitors pass through the bright veil which looks like curtains that sway in the wind or soft ripples of sunlit waters. Turczan described that the installation is based on his ongoing Veils series and that it “envisions a future, not defined by physical mass, but by energy and perception. Here, light doesn’t serve to illuminate; it forms the very architecture of experience.”
